 Work has started on the first plastic road in Islamabad, one kilometer plastic road is being constructed on Ataturk Avenue, 70 tons of plastic will be used on one kilometer road, at present heavy traffic will not be able to run on the plastic road. According to CDA Chairman Amir Ali Ahmed, the plastic road has been inaugurated. To control environmental pollution, plastic will be recycled and used for construction of roads. Work has been started on the road, one kilometer of plastic road is being constructed on Ataturk Avenue. ۔


This technology will be free and for all, public and private sectors will also be able to use, after testing the material will also be used for heavy roads. The CDA converted a 300-meter collision into plastic material at F-Nine Park a month ago as a test. Currently the traffic on the plastic road will not be able to run, this process will be made for heavy traffic only after going through various stages of testing. CDA and road construction experts say the plastic road will be more durable than ordinary roads, will be waterproof and will cost less than half as much as ordinary roads.
