Quetta, DFA Zhob and Muslim Kul Chaman reach semifinals of Ufone 4G Balochistan Football Cup 2021
DFA Zhob and Muslim Kul Chaman have reached the semi-finals of Ufone 4G Balochistan Football Cup 2021 by winning the Super Eight stage matches held at Ayub Stadium, Quetta. In the Super Eight stage, DFA Zhob faced DFA Quetta United. Both teams played well and attacked each other's goal posts, but neither team was able to score within the allotted time and the match ended in a draw, after which the match was decided on penalty kicks. It was also thrilling in which DFA Quetta United scored 6 penalties but DFA Zhob scored 7 penalties and made its place in the semi-finals.
The second match of the Super Eight stage was played between DFA Turbat and Muslim Club Chaman. The game gained momentum when Wali Khan of Muslim Club Chaman scored a goal in the 25th minute of the match to give his team the lead which became stronger with the passage of time. Farid of Muslim Club scored the second goal for his team in the 30th minute while his player Abdul Qadir scored the third goal in the 39th minute.
Muslim Club's lead remained in the second half. Hanif scored the fourth goal for his team in the 50th minute while Farid scored the fifth goal in the 75th minute. Farid Fuji then scored the sixth and final goal against the opposing team to give his team access to the next stage. Throughout the match, DFA Turbat failed to score a single goal and lost the tournament by a huge margin.
Baloch Club Quetta and Quetta Zor Aur Club have already reached the semi-finals which will be held on November 24. DFA Zhob will take on Baloch Club Quetta at 2.30 pm while Muslim Club Chaman will take on Quetta Zor Aur Club at 5.30 pm at Ayub Stadium. The final match of the semi-final winning team will be held at the Ayub Stadium in Quetta on Thursday, November 25 under floodlights to win the Ufone 4G Balochistan Football Cup title.
