Inquiry ordered against Grade 21 officer for posting 'highly objectionable' against PTI government
The federal government, headed by Sanaullah Abbasi, head of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), has ordered an inquiry into Hamad Shamimi, a Grade 21 government official, for posting criticism against the government.

According to the notification, Prime Minister Imran Khan has appointed FIA chief Sanaullah Abbasi as the investigating officer in the case. Orders have been issued to the Inquiry Officer to complete the inquiry within 60 days and submit a preliminary report within the next seven days.
According to the notification, Hamad Shamimi, who has been appointed as Senior Joint Secretary in the Cabinet Division, had posted 'highly objectionable' material on social media platforms on August 25 this year in which he wrote: 'A resemblance between PTI and Taliban is this. Also, after meeting the two governments, they are thinking how to run it? And the center of their hopes is Aabpara.
According to the Establishment Division, this post is against the rules of government officials' policy of using social media.
Remember that there are some government rules and regulations regarding the use of social media as a government employee, in case of violation of which the government can initiate departmental action.
